Georgia Kyriakopoulou, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, gracefully departed from this world on April 19, 2024, at the age of 84. Her passing leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories that will forever be etched in the hearts of those who knew her.
Born on March 23, 1940, in the picturesque village of Stasio, Greece, Georgia's life journey was marked by resilience, warmth, and an unwavering spirit. She was full of life, with an adventurous spirit that took her on countless journeys. Georgia found joy in the simple pleasures of life and had a zest for exploration, always eager to embark on new adventures.
Her roots in Greece instilled in her a deep sense of tradition and community, values she carried with her throughout her life. Georgia was the loving mother of Magdaliny Sims and Efthymia Kyriakopoulou. Georgia's wisdom and kindness were a guiding light for her family, offering comfort and support through life's joys and challenges.
As a grandmother, Georgia found immense joy in the presence of her grandchildren: Georgo Maragelis, Konstantina Dimoulakis, Georgia Dimoulakis, Efstathia Dimoulakis, and Yianni Dimoulakis. Her love for them knew no bounds, and she cherished every moment spent together, filling their lives with laughter, warmth, and endless love.
In her later years, Georgia welcomed a new generation into her heart, her great-granddaughter, Sofia Massey. Their bond was a testament to the enduring power of family and the legacy of love Georgia leaves behind.
Georgia's vibrant spirit, infectious laughter, and unwavering love touched the lives of all who knew her. Though she may have bid farewell to this world, her memory will live on in the hearts of those she loved and inspired.
Friends and family are welcome to attend her viewing form 10am to 11am Friday, 4-26-2024, at St. Luke Greek Orthodox Church, 35 N. Malin Rd, Broomall, Pa 19008. Her funeral service will start at 11am in the church. Her interment will follow at Glenwood Memorial Gardens.
